During lockdown I saw a pic of a vintage mirror on First Dibs that I could never have afforded, so we made it.
I can honestly say that I have never got such appreciation from buying anything in the way I do from making it.
There is nothing like loving something you’ve made and seeing it every day.
This mirror went unfinished into storage while I moved house after divorce. A few years passed where I was dealing with domestic issues and settling into a new home so to finally finish this mirror and it not be broken in all the upheaval is kind of symbolic and Amazing.
I feel like I’ve definitely broken through into a creative time of my life. Finally ⚡️⚡️⚡️
