Coopersfield house and art studio are available for hire for special occasions. We specialise in birthday lunches, dinners and art afternoons.
Coopersfield is a double height, single storey, black wooden house built in the 80’s by two artists. It was designed to maximise natural light and views of surrounding nature with floor to ceiling windows in many rooms, skylight pyramids and veluxes. It is approx 4,000 sq ft. More details below the photos…

The gardens are a peaceful and secluded 2 acres and are grazed by deer with many beautiful trees creating wooded areas. The house has a long approach off a private road.
Interiors are light and airy, decorated in a warm contemporary palette of pinks, burnt oranges, mustards, white and green accents.
Interiors are designed by artists who currently own the property.
There is a large art studio on site with double doors looking out onto the garden.
There is accommodation for crew if needed, parking for ten cars and good travel networks, a train from London Bridge takes just over an hour. Coopersfield is 40 mins from Brighton and a short walk from The Ashdown Forest. The South Downs are a 20 min drive.
Unusual features include a large art studio, a long verandah with wrap-around terrace, an indoor sauna room, a breakfast bar that spans a kitchen and dining room with views over the gardens, deer surround property often if we are careful not to disturb, equally they will move away if not wanted in shots.
